Pirates Spawn Endlessly, WAD?
I'm trying out a game with 5x, UCP, the compatibility patch, and DSMP mods. Pirates spawn every 20-30 turns in one particular asteroid belt. They don't have a base. Even after I turned the asteroid belt into a planet and put a colony on it, they still spawn. Is this WAD or a bug?

By the way, thanks for the work on the mods! This game is amazing with the mods, and not worth playing without. Is there anyplace I can donate to buy you a cup of coffee?

The first question always is: did you really install ucp properly? (this is always easier if you write down the full names, not short forms of the mods)
The next idea is, that your mod order is not correct. I think DSMP should be loaded before compatibility patch.

I never heard of that bug before, so it should have one of those two reasons. (for more ideas i need more information)

Sounds like a bug to me, and I don't think UCP has addressed it. Can you link a save file?

As Sensei suggested, I hadn't installed UCP correctly and my mod order wasn't correct. I've fixed those things, and I'll let you know if the problem persists. (In game, I just built a starbase on the new planet and murdered the poor pirate every time he spawned.) Thanks for the help and the great mods!

Had to start a new game and now lots of stuff works better. I did find one small spelling mistake if you want it. Under Morale in the Custom Race Creation menu, "Unwaivering" is misspelled. It should be Unwavering.

Thanks for the spelling correction. In 3 years no one has mentioned that.
