The install order doesn't matter. What matters is the order the mods are in in the mods menu. But I know what you mean. It's possible we could do a one-shot installer and mod for 5X, UCP, 5XCPC, and Custom assets. DSMP is another author's work who is no longer around, so we are stuck with that one as is. It's a pain to do all the merging, but now that 5X isn't updating, maybe it's worth doing. I'll see if WhatIsSol is ok with it, and maybe I can put it together for the next UCP update.

Are you sure the install order doesn't matter? I could have sworn last time I did this that the DSMP assets were very particular about when they were installed. IIRC if you botched the order you'd get planets with broken textures.

Edit: So I went ahead and did that new install so I could remember what it was that kept giving me grief. It was the Resource Pack and 5X + Resource Pack patch mods to add textures to DSMP that I'd run into issues with. I just stopped using them and stuck the visuals in the Custom 5X and DSMP Assets instead and that made the the entire process much less headache inducing.
