Cluster map bug
I play on large (9 cluster) cluster maps frequently. For those not familiar, the map is separated into nine sections each with 10 stars.
I started a game the other day and only had 7 stars in my cluster. The other clusters each had 10 stars as usual.
@Spud, do you know off hand why the galaxy generated with the discrepancy?
I decided today to see what the frequency of the discrepancy is, and it generated one short cluster in 4 of 12 galaxies I created in a ten minute span.

I'd love to know where the problem is, and even better I'd love to see the bug fixed. Is the problem in one of the (many) mods I have active? (BTW, the game the other day with only 7 stars in my home cluster was before I installed the new resource pack and 5x associated mod, so they aren't causing it.) Is this a Spud question or a WhatIsSol question?

I remember there was a similar issue with the web galaxies. Sometimes one player only got 3 systems while everyone else got 3. I think lowering minimum distance between stars solved it there. If so, that sounds like a spud question

You should include the mods list in the zip file, and if there are local mods (apart from UCP, of course) put them in, too.

btw i dont remember cluster giving everyone the same number of systems, where does this information come from?

Most likely the minimum distance between stars needs to be reduced. I'll look into it.

Alright, I reduced the minimum star distance from 2 to 1.8, and got a seed that was only generating 6 stars in a particular cluster up to 10 as a result. I can't test all the seeds, but hopefully that fixes it. It'll be in the next version.

They do. Since the amount of stars you get in your cluster is pretty small, I decided they needed to be all equal in order to be fair.
