Great to see this being revived! I'd like to suggest a leader for the democratic party: a dragon. Specifically, if you can get the permission to use him, a specific anthro dragon called "Xendrian Maranmore" from Deviantart. He's portrayed as a democratically-elected President, and in my opinion, he looks pretty dang cool.

As the "Democratic Union of Aquillia-Draconia" is one of the nation's we're adding, I'd like to suggest that out of the multiple methods to prevent an Aquillian uprising, one of them could be enacted during the first election by electing a hybrid president (as in, an aqua/scaly hybrid, such as a dolphin-dragon, an orca-dragon, etc.) Such a decision could pacify the aquas without the need for a national focus, effectively bypassing the focuses needed to pacify them.
