Got log screen at game start
The lua, couldnt post in comments, too long apparently
No other mods this time, had the codex factions previous time. Same error this time, found these errors in lua.

That's only half the error, I need the line where it say what exactly is wrong, too. Should look something ike this:

Runtime Error: C:\Users\<SomeUnserName>\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\MODS\[COLOR_CYAA][COLOR_CYAN]Codex[ENDCOLOR][ENDCOLOR] (v 6)\UI\UnitPanel.lua:108: Could not find method to obtain action icon.

But with that many errors, I suspect that something went wrong with the download. Close the game, delete the Cache folder in Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth and then log into the game again, wait until the mod has finished downloading files and try again.

Also, are you using a non-windows operating system?

It's likely your windows user name that's causing these problems, try something with only standard letters.

Well, you were right, moved documents directly to C, worked perfectly first try. didnt think games still had that problem.

Thank you very much for the help, looking forward to playing the mod.

Same issue here. I am on mac - I have my games loaded on a HD seperate from my system drive.

That's a completely different error, and most likely caused by mod incompatibilities. If you're running other mods, disable those.

If you're not running other mods, go to...

Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\Logs\Database.log

...and look for Errors at the bottom of the file.
