My advice , before you start working inside the bleuprints of the landscape for the Ark Def Kit,
Will be first, watching the tutorials here below,
those tutorials are for the unreal engine, how you make a basic landscape material, if you have that knowledge of those tutorials you can start changing or adding textures in your def kit,
this cause the bleuprints of the Def Kits a really advanced settings.
Link tutorial, Texturing a landscape in UE4
Link tutorial, beginner tutorial series terrain materials
the files that you have to copy are :
MM_NewIsland (change name)
MI_NewIsland(change name)
and add the texture scripting from MM_SnowBiome, MM_ScorchedEarth and copy those inside the new copy that you have made, MM_...
PS : before you do something inside the blueprints make sure that you are using a copy! Don't chance anything in the originals, if you have bugged them you have to reinstall the def kit.
I'll look at this
But my question about the landscape is that you say you have an emap 5 times larger, but when I create the largest size, I am far from the count even if I do not try to make such a large map
Ps: you would speak French, I thought to see that you were Belgian on your tweeter
I would like to offer my help for advanced on the development of your enormous map, I had a similar project but I confess solo it is not obvious so I propose you my application for you helped
salut,
je voudrais proposé mon aide pour avancé sur le developpement votre enorme map, j' avai un projet similaire mais j'avou en solo c'est pas evident donc je vous propose ma candidature pour vous aidé
Ty for the apply, i'll contact you later this week ,
Let me first think about it, (how I can range that)
(I will send you a steam invite later this week) (to much work right now)
No worry I understand, we can talk about it when you have a little time,
After on the way to do I try to see from my side also how to do not necessarily obvious
