That's how the hoverbokes behave too, so they are working properly.

I think 2017 me was taking about it in zero G (i.e. astroids and space stations). It functions perfectly normal. He's taking about it rotating rather than frantically going left and right.
Although out of context, it does look like 2017 me was taking some drugs.
