How to set all skills to 0?
I've been watching a YouTube series by ambiguousamphibian where he used Prepare Carefully to start with a single colonist that had 0 in all skills but passions in all of them. He kind of skipped over how to do that though, and I haven't been able to replicate it - the lowest I can get is the bonus stats granted by the character backstories. Anyone know how to go lower than the backstory would get you?

Pretty sure it's just based on background, you should be able to just look through ones that would just give no starting bonus to any skill

The absolute lowest I've found is having a character under 20 (so that you get no adult background) and the Street Child background. This gives 3 social and 0 in the rest. There might be one lower because I filtered by 'No Disabled Work Types'.

I just looked at the start of that video. With the background he started with, he should have some skills. However he did it, it doesn't appear to be through PrepC. My guess would be dev mode but as I've never used it, I can't be sure.

Not sure if you're still curious, but by taking the Punk background instead of the Street Child background, a 0 skill run is possible.

Can't with this mod, but you can use Character editor

PS: In ambiguousamphibian's video he lowered their skills with dev mode

You can use this mod for a 0 stat run without dev mode using the following guide.

1st: Click the 'decrease' button (the left arrow) to the right of each skill to get the skill as low as possible. The only skills you'll have at this point are granted by your background.
2nd: Adjust your pawn's physical age to between 14 and 19. Since 20 and above are considered adult, you won't receive any benefits of an adult background. Your chronological age is irrelevant.
3rd: Set your childhood background to 'Punk'. This is the only child background I've found with no skill boosts and no disabled work types. If you're not concerned about disabled work types, there may be other backgrounds.

You can also alter the passions of characters by clicking the icon to the left of each skill.

Sidenote: I agree, at the the time of the video's posting, ambiguousamphibian had to have used dev mode, especially when you not the backgrounds he chose.
Sidenote 2: I haven't looked through the adult backgrounds so I don't know if it's possible as an adult. This is just the method I used for my 0-stat-man template.
