- The Orassans are not drawn properly. They still look like human.
- You cannot customize their appearance.
- When you start a game, the portrait in the colonist bar at the top of the window will be drawn as a human even though the colonist on the map is drawn correctly. If you save the game and load it back up, both will be displayed properly.
Thanks! that's so helpful. You modders are the best
There's a mod called Humanoid Alien Framework[ludeon.com] that acts as a framework for other modders. It's basically a modder's resource for Alien Races, and three mods I'm aware of are using the framework, that being the Orassans, Asari of the Rim, and Jaffa, Cree! REBORN.
If EDB can somehow make the framwork compatible with PC, then we can assume the other mods would work, as well. Of course, I'm no modder, so that's still wishful thinking...
I'm a writer, but not a modder. Ihave an idea of a race I'd like to make, but I don't have access to a vector program...
I'd take a crack at it myself if I actually knew how mods where made for Unity to begin with (that's what engine Rimworld uses I think).
