Adjust the icon to indicate remaining time
Hey Neo,

it would be awesome if you could change the icon of the item in the inventory view, to indicate if it will soon rot. I think of something like adding a yellow dot or yellow overlay when the food will rot in less than 1 hour and a red dot/overlay when the foord will rot in less than 10 Minuites. That way one can see at a glances which foods need to be eaten/sold/processed next.

Would that be possible?

Oh sry for the late response, I have not seen this thread until now.
Well, unfortunately there is no way for modders to add an overlay for items in the inventory.

Oh, that's too bad :(. I think I will suggest this feature to the devs. Maybe they'll add it at some point.

wait, there was a guy that made a mod that had a color dot in the bottom right corner of the foods icon.

@MooMooMilkman Could you find out the Name of that mod?

I am currently using food rot info ( http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=747784448 ) which adjusts the rarity/border-color of the food depending on the rot-time. It plays nice with this addon and has the useful sideeffect that the food sorts by remaining rot-time as well.

AS he said in one post: he changed the icons from all food items. First. I don't want to change all the icons manually and second, it could be a problem with food from other mods.

"food rot dots" does

but "food rot info" doesn't, had a look at it, it's just a script that changes rarity depending on time remaining.
