I found a bug with the mod
found a bug where both friendly and hostile NPCs become unkillable, I checked by uninstalling and reinstalling each of my mods and this was the only one that had this problem, Idk if it is something in the mod itself or a confliction with another mod, but I thought it would be good to point out.

Can confirm; this mod includes a faulty copy of the raceEffects.lua script from Frackin Races. It's a crapshoot whether this makes the NPCs unkillable or not.

Is there a way to fix this through unpacking the files and editing the raceEffects.lua?

Technically yes, but you'd be better off deleting it entirely. If you have FR installed alongside this then you don't need the copy in Playable Umbreon - and if you don't have FR, then you don't need raceEffects.lua at all.

Oh, thinking about it, you'd also want to edit player.config.patch, and change it from:
[ { "op" : "add", "path" : "/species/-", "value" : "umbreon"}, { "op" : "add", "path" : "/defaultCodexes/Umbreon", "value" : [ "protectorate1", "protectorate2" ] }, { "op" : "add", "path" : "/statusControllerSettings/primaryScriptSources/-", "value" : "/scripts/raceEffects.lua" } ]
to this:
[ { "op" : "add", "path" : "/species/-", "value" : "umbreon"}, { "op" : "add", "path" : "/defaultCodexes/Umbreon", "value" : [ "protectorate1", "protectorate2" ] } ]

For anyone wondering, this "unkillable NPCs" glitch is still in it.
Although, it did only affect humanoid NPCs, i.e. Florans, Humans, Apex etc. including ones spawned by quests.
