The point of the stall is so that you don't have to go through the often grueling process of getting to the extra-secret areas once more if you have the essence.

This worked for me and if you guys still play Starbound with Frackin' Universe I'd like to hear if this works for you, as it might be a randomly generated Instance world.
Yes it works in the FU version.
