Completed an archeology event that gave me a ship with about 3k fleet power (the Charmakaradum). I got it early on and wiped out a neighboring empire. Another archeology event gave me terraforming, just like that. Far from balanced, though that kind of boon will surely fall off in later game.

The terraforming one is vanilla I believe. There also is a rather rare digsite in vanilla that gives you a titan, so I'd say the 3k fp ship is on the stronger side, if you get it early, but it is more or less in line with vanilla.

I believe the digsite that gave me terraforming is also the one that gave me Voggo the Great and 1/3 research into cloning. Could be mistaken, I had a bunch going at the same time, but I recall being surprised that I was getting so much out of one site.
