Pregenitor Technology
I want it. Need it. G o t t a h a v e i t .
Is there any way to obtain this godly technology? Even if it involves editing files?

I FIGURED IT OUT
In order to get the Pregenitor Technology, you have to type in the console:

effect give_technology = { tech = tech_x }

Replace "x" with whatever technology you want. Make sure to type the name exactly right or else your game will crash! Here is a list of technologys:


tech_mem_lex_armor
tech_mem_lex_shield
tech_mem_lex_power
tech_mem_lex_cpu
tech_mem_lex_thruster
tech_mem_lex_drive
tech_mem_lex_sensor
tech_mem_lex_hull_repair
tech_mem_lex_shield_repair
tech_mem_lex_lab (no known use)
tech_mem_lex_artifact*
tech_mem_ancient_weapon*

*These may not work correctly. Not sure why.

Actually no, it was added by spacecore in order to pack everything up for testing purposes. Though I did plan to make some of the components available as a rewards for quests at a later point. But there are no definitive plans for this right now.

If you just want to use it, you can write a simple event to add this technology to your country. This is actually pretty easy to do, just look for example events that do just that.

Problem with these techs is that some of the components do not go in the right place, for example the power core is only placable in an armor slot
