Sound Bug
Currently there is a bug in this mod that causes the sound to crackle when zooming in on the infantry Blood Knights. I want start a conversation about how this can be repaired. This is the only issue with this mod that remains imho, and if we can all help Zaskar70 fix it then the mod will be flawless.

edit: I am only a neophyte when it comes to modding and I cant offer much to the conversation itself, but I just hope by starting the conversation we can help Zas solve this bug.

I have the same problem, hopefully the mod author rectifies this issue. Otherwise we will all be waiting for CA's take on Blood Knights and I don't know about you but I'm certainly not a patient man. I'd rather stick to this mod but due to this glitch I simply can't. On a side note however, I'm glad I'm not alone in this.

I looked at the voice actor values set by the author, but I can't figure out where the vo files are in the database, or how the mod is calling on them. The mod author definatly knows more about this than I do, but I want to help in my own small way.

I'm glad you've determined what the error could be in all likelihood anyway. However, this is Zaskar's mod and it is ultimately up to him to fix it. Nevertheless, I'm glad someone with more technical knowledge of the Warscape engine than me, that is you is working towards determining what the heart of this problem is and how to fix it. You're right in assuming the fault lies with the voice actor values though, that much is plainly obvious. If only the Blood Knights would zip it lol, their loud warcrys are distorting the audio engine.

yes i got the exact same problem, it is really bad. When i only use these units in a battle my pc almost freezes from the sound bug and i got a very decent pc and i got no problems running this game with everything set on ultra..

Beez, you could've simply told us how to fix it though, via copying and pasting his "fix". Thanks for the advice though, didn't want to come off as rude.

its located in the variant mesh but i cant say exactly where

i had the hammers of sigmar mod that had this issue and i insered the new variant mesh and left the rest of the mod untouched and it was fixed
so its some audio entry there but i cant look it up because i dont have the broken file anymore to look for the exact line that changed

This is an issue with many custom units, Radious is also having this problem, I am going to attempt to change the sound files that are attached to the armour and see if that resolves the wierd sound issue. It may in the end turn out to be a game bug that can only be solved by CA.

Thanks for updating Zas. I will confirm that the sound bug is no more. I would just like to send a big thank you, and I really appreciate this mod.
