Bug report
Hey Blood,

Yesterday I got some message of errors about a mod and for some reason the game was not loading any mod, only assets.

After unsubscribing and resubscribing, and moving some mods to the mod folder in the Appdata directory, I found that this mod was showing the message "Broken Assembly" in your improved mods panel. I was not able to deactivate it too. Had to unsubscribe and resubscribe it, and started working again. Today I got the error again, here the links to the pastebins from the errors.

Can you please confirm if the error is caused by your mod?

No, it's not caused by this mod. It simply means that this mod is unusable without Extra Lanscaping Tools. Error happens because of that. Message says that Unity can't find Extra Lanscaping Tools binary.

Strange, I have the Extra Landscaping mod subscribed and activated, but this one simple don't activate at all or I get this error and the game don't load any mod in the workshop folder, only the ones in the local mods folder.

More strange is that it was working, and now simple don't.

I already checked the game integrity and subscribed and unsubscribed from the Extra Landscaping mod and still nothing. =(

Hey blood, only updating you. After you said that the mod was not finding the ELT mod I made some tests and found that for some reason the ELT sometimes don't load in my game when I have the SP mod activated. The only way I found to make the two work without issues was puting the two in local mods folder, and unsubscribe in the workshop.

Probably some issue with steam and the workshop or even the game. When I reinstall it some day I will do more tests and if the issue return I will report.

I did the same as Blackdragonbird and now I can pass the loading screen, no more cities. exe stop running. And playing with 81 tiles. This error show up but I hit ok and I can play. The only issue is that when I select for example a tree the game freezes for 2 or 3 seconds (lag). Here's the error (pictures) http://imgur.com/a/pveDW

@agusingnavy Lag is caused by loading custom brushes from hard drive. That's not this mod's issue

Thanks for the tip about the brushes BP. Working great now. But I hope you find a solution so I can subscribe to this mod and ELT in order to get the updates. I've loaded the game 5 times, always the same error but without problems to play and with 81 tiles mod enabled.

Can you send me your saved game, please? The problem is, that no matter how much I try, i can't reproduce the issue. Do you use any other mods other than 81 Tiles and Surface Painter, that may somehow interact with terrain/map tiles?

Ok. I'll post a link with the saved game and a txt file with all the mods I use. Don't ask me about custom assets because I've plopped a few and I don't remember which ones. All the assets and mods I use are in my Assets & Mods List collection. Give me 10 minutes.

Hello BP, thanks for all your hard work in creating so many helpful mods! Unfortunately, I seem to be encountering this issua as well and it has only sprung up in the past few days. I do have the Extra Landscaping mod but C:S still generates an error whenever it is launched with Surface Painter active. I can't speak to the brushes issue other than to say I haven't added any that I am aware of.
