would've been nice if the cement paint seemlesly mixed in to the sidewalk next to the road without leaving a barrier of grass between the paint & the sidewalk

In short, this mod repaints the ground with 5 different types of terrain colors. There are two types of grass, a gravel, a sand and a concrete (so to speak) option(s), with a removal option as well.

For that annoying bloppy concrete pie shaped gaps I use these, https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=3170176397

The concrete set has a 1 x 4 version that I bet was made just for that. It will not overlap the building either. Now my buildings on curved roads have a nice consistent concrete that I can then add fences or hedgerows! Sweeeet!

First, I want to complain.
I always was avoiding to build curved roads, because if the road is curved, buildings won't stay tightly to each other, and there will be ugly gaps between that. I have decided that I've got enough of that, and I need to find a way to fill these gaps with pavement texture.
That's it. Such a simple problem. But it seemed to be impossible to solve! I tried to build airport aprons, but zoned buildings won't build over aprons. I tried one mod and found out it's deprecated. I tried another mod and found out it doesn't work (decals are just invisible). I tried one more mod and found out that it is cannot work properly with even small slopes, and besides it is overcomplicated and made not for humans but for programmers...
And now I'm outraged that wise advisors from Reddit didn't mention it at all, preferring to mention garbage mods instead.
Now the positive part.
Creator, you resolved my problem without any headache. You're my savior. I freaking love you <3

What wasn't seeming to work though is placing trees so I disabled both for now

it works as intended for me. sometimes cities skylines doesn't load the mods properly, unsubscribing and resubscribing works for me

B_Panther. Bummer. this is a cool tool. I see vids with this feature in CS II. Not sure if it is vanilla or MOD. Anyone know of another MOD option that has similar or same function? I use Repaint for Network coloring. Like that would be great. Full RGB of choices, and Eyedropper!

I agree. That's the only problem that I have with this. You can only use the 5 options that it comes with. I have yet to find more textures. I don't think there are any though. Everyone is focusing more on ploppable pavements now rather than surface painting. So, this may be as good as it gets unfortunately.

It does work for me as well, as this is what I've always used to paint different areas.Been painting industries since 2016! LOL Although, due to its age, I'm sure it could still use an update.

Sir, after issuing new DLC, I can't find surface painter icon during the game.. could you please check it?

That means your system ran out of RAM for the save. What you want to do is set a page file. First, in the search bar, type "advanced system settings." You should then see a window that says System properties, with performance at the top. Click settings, advanced, and then change under virtual memory. Check the custom size box and change it to whatever size you'd like. Do it on an SSD if you're able to, page files on HDD are really slow.

This mod does not work the comment below is exactly whats happening

After enabling this mod, the memory reaches its limit upon save file is loaded, and the game crashes. The log file contains dozens of lines with the message: d3d11: failed to create staging 2D texture w=512 h=512 d3dfmt=28 [887a0005]. When trying another similarly sized save, the game loads but becomes extremely, extremely, extremely laggy, and within less than a minute, the system forcefully terminates the process. Disabling the mod resolves all issues.

I've had the mod for a long time and it's always worked.
Today: Error message: dll file could not be loaded. What could be the reason for this?

Mod is working fine for me. Check to see if that may be a conflicting mod.

This is probably one of the greatest mods for Cities Skylines, however I was wondering if it would be possible for Pavement to not override the terrain of nodes like Roads or Paths, as it is extremely difficult to make good looking pavement patches. I don't know how the mod works and don't even know if it's possible with the game's toolset.

Um, I'm still using the temporary fix, and it's still working. What will happen to the existing surface I painted if I unsubscribed the temporary and change it with this one?
