The new major MU empires should be there at the bottom of your empire selection screen and the maps Pre-TNG Milky Way Galaxy (mirror) and Pre-TNG Lore Milkyway Galaxy (mirror) somewhere among other maps.

Also check that your main menu screen has: "NHV 0524 A MIRROR Shattered Expansion - (bed8f2)" text somwhere at the bottom.

MIne does not have that quote. It has a 0324 .Not that number you gave me. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall? Also I checked the entire empire race. Last one on the list is the UFP for 2300. I Also only see the PRe TNG Milky and Lore for the normal map. No MU.

I think for one reason or another Steam just hasn´t updated the mod for you. So you could try unsubscribing and then resubscribing to the mod and if that doesn´t help validating game files (Right click on Stellaris in Steam Library -> Properties -> Installed files -> Verify integrity of the game files, or something like that on Windows anyway).

For me sometimes Steam doesn´t update the mod straight away either, but usually does it after I have started Stellaris and the mod once and then exited it. But yeah look for that above mentioned NHV 0524 number.

Got it working. Howerver I also realized I was using an older version of the game. Updated it to the latest. Not sure if it was that or reinstalling the mod. Regardless, thanks!
