if there is console command workaround for the neutral zone to be auto created like it was im ok with that, i used console to work around the resort world one

im having issues with the romulan neutral zone not creating after romulan war and also when i create a resort world it doesnt change to resort govt building and instead is capital 2 and unupgradable.

Yeah, I cheated now with finish_research console command, and it gives me other tech as well. Like Jem Hadar Shock Troops, AI Core/APU Crew, Plasma Disruptors, etc.

So, I have started a new game as United Earth, and in my research list there is the option for "Tal Shiar operatives"? It is also free. That seems wrong.

The Game Stellaris Star trek New Horizons crashes when starting a new Game or loading a Savegame! It appears after an Update from Yesterday. Before the Update, I was able to play over Hours, without crashes or any problems! Is somebody else having that issue? What can I do? Will there come a Fix for this?

I can confirm that the in game fallen empires, like the First Federation and Metrons are also expanding their territory as well. Looks like something woke them up lol.

in my game with borg, the fallen empires had powerful fleets, including some that were moving to other sectors but they didnt attack me (this was in the last v3.14 mod for stellaris)

It looks like in this version ALL fallen empires (whatever the equivalent is in this mod) are starting as active and running amuck - playing as the Borg I had the Voth send 50K and 100K fleet power fleets shortly while I was still running around with Pyramid frigates. Short game. Hope that gets fixed!

@Russ - Just wanted to let you know the Confederation of Earth seems to be starting with Xenophile and Egalitarian ethics instead of the Xenophobe and Authoritarian they would normally have. Noticed this was happening in the 4.0.23 version as well.

It's a base game/vanilla bug.
Deleting the "settings.txt" file and restarting the game will fix this.

C:\Users\yourpcname\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris

Also, make sure to remove your custom empires (move to a different folder or delete).


One last thing, we're probably patching today. :)

When I click new game I get a CTD - I've rolled back the version etc and just running the main mod. Any one got any ideas what is causing this? Thank you.

Hey Devs, ran into a few issues that may be unintended:

From the diplomacy screen, clicking a planet no longer opens the alien capital—makes navigation slower.

Playing as the Breen, I formed a Martial Coalition with several B/C-tier empires to counter stronger factions, but as president I have 0/600 shared fleet capacity and no option to build a coalition fleet. This feature would really help balance weaker coalitions.

Cloak-detection techs appear far more often than cloak upgrades. My Breen have lvl 3 cloaks (+1 trait) but by 2279 nearly every empire has cloak-nullifying tech effective vs lvl 4. Suggestion: make detection unlock only after analyzing debris from a cloaked battle so cloaks remain useful early-mid game.

To the Developers, I was finally able to get all the information together about the broken Husnock race. It's pretty much unplayable at this point. Odd "Navy size" tags on top of the empire and, after discovering Destroyers, the ships are broken and can't be designed.

Below are the major files from Dropbox. *Please* fix this. The Husnock is a great race to play and also people have reported this problem as well with the Gorn, the Anticans, and probably a few others.

(theres a lot of nice touches to certain events to, for example, if the borg are using intel and fail something, you get an animated clip of picard and data and team, staggering in with phasers raised, to deny them) :redshirt: :redshirt: :redshirt: :redshirt:

If you scroll up a bit you'll see the compatible version number (4.0.23) in this case.
And at the end of the main page (just above "popular discussions" you'll see "Basic Troubleshooting"

So you can either wait for STNH to be updated to the latest version, or you could roll back stellaris to the previous version.

The next STNH update is in the works and is currently being tested. (gotta get rid of all the bugs :)

No DLCs are required to play STNH, but some do add some features.(the entire list can be found on our discord in the "FAQ" channel.

Hello, I returned to Stellaris about a month ago and immediately jumped back into the New Horizon mod.

But for the past three weeks, nothing has worked. When I load the mod and start a Game, it crashes and reverts to the desktop.
The mod worked for the first week.

Is an update required, or do I need a specific DLC for the mod to work?

I just want to say that the dedication of the authors of this mod are amazing. Well done mod fellas and excited to play it when it's updated. I just watched a ton of the Star Trek movies and came to play it on stellaris only to find that the darn game updated haha

Hi New Horizons team,

I love Star Trek: New Horizons – it’s my favorite Stellaris mod! The Borg are epic, and your passion for Trek shines. Thanks for this amazing work!

In my Borg run, war exhaustion forced a peace treaty with the Krenim, blocking attacks. This felt un-Borg – they don’t do truces or diplomacy. Could the Borg skip war exhaustion or turn it into a bonus, like an “Assimilation Drive”? Maybe block surrender options or add an event to reset fatigue?

This could make the Borg feel more relentless while keeping balance. Amazing mod – excited for more!

ah im not sure, im playing borg in v3.14 version, and as far as i could tell, i didnt have any special Latinum resource symbols, but was getting Latinum, and the more trade icons / resource i got, the more my Latinum increased. (that is why i think the borg get it as Latinum) :lunar2019piginablanket:

Mby it's my fault, but i played the borg (with the borg ui) and couldnt find my trade resource and how i get it. (I never played Stellaris without Star Trek or Star Wars Mod)

@Russ - Hmm it is lasting longer than that. Some of the ship classes seem to keep it longer than others. I have my current Fed game saved. What's the next step with that?

@shysilenthonor - the modifier should only last 30 days from going into combat and cleared when combat is exited. But if that’s not happening then I’ll look into it. If you have a save that would really help.

@Russ - About the battle speed, is there anyway that after the battle is over that the speed could return to normal sooner for the fleets than it does now? It works nicely with how it makes the battles more like Star Trek than the base game, but after the battle when trying to move the fleets to other areas even with higher end impulse drives it takes forever. If you have to go through a system with hazards like pulsars or black holes the ships are down to a crawl.
