Federation - invitation of potential members
In order to invite a potential member, they have to be first in the coalition.
But what if a potential member itself is in a different colation? Is there a way to break them "out"? Otherwise there is no chance of getting it into the Federation.

Unfortunately, no. What I do is, after all coalition members have joined the UFP and I'm alone, I join other coalitions. Or, if you prefer, you can use console commands to switch players to the empire in question, and manually leave their coalitions to join yours.
