As the title says, I seem to be stuck.

Every month or two I get the pop-up about this event.

--Solar Eruption from Romulan Star--
There has been a further solar eruption of the Romulan star, the dying star continues to cause damage to anything in its path. The inhabitants of the system can only hope for a swift evacuation or a miracle to save them.

My only choice is to click

When the initial pop-up came up, I had more choices.
I think it was...something like
Ask for help from the Federation, the Klingons, the Ferengi, and the Cardassians. Or We are Romulans, we do not need anyone's help.
I chose the latter.
Besides, I had already wiped out the Federation and the Klingons. so those choices were odd to have on the list.

Anyway, I have clicked Bad News to the recurring pop-up probably 15-20 times.
Just explode already... or not.

Normally I would not care overmuch, but it is causing an empire wide population modification of:
Base Growth
Pending Apocalypse -50%
From immigration
Pending Apocalypse -40%

So it is hampering my entire empire.

Is this a bug?
Or is this by design?
