Any way to play NSC late game without other mods to lower fleet power?
I used to play with just NSC and some flavor mods, its my favorite way to play, but I'd always run into the dreaded bug where starbase/fleet power goes too high and loops to 1. It wasn't visual either, I'd see my insanely strong fleets instantly lose to a starbase.
Unsure if there's a way to fix this myself? (I used to use ACOT, or Ancient Cache of Technologies along with NSC, but its both not updated and I'd rather just use NSC)

You shouldn’t be running into that problem, we already have NSC set to lower fleet power calculations by half, and no one has reported that bug in quite awhile.

Have you tried just playing with NSC or were you asking this before you started a new game?

I last played on Stellaris 3.(something) about 2 years ago with NSC. Sorry if this has been fixed then, it just routinely popped up in the past so I thought it'd still be there.
Thanks for replying. I was going to play today, but I couldn't get the NSC popup for settings to show so I figured I'd wait for more updates.

The change with the fleet power is definitely less than 2 years old, so the bug you describe was a problem back then, but is not now.

The Mod Menu was removed in the 4.0 update pending a redesign for Season 2.

Ohh. My bad then. Sorry for wasting your time - and thanks! I'll be playing with mostly just NSC2 now then.
