Hope it can help, but you have to put it on a DS to reproduce the problem...
On the client side, I need the log file that's in %appdata%/SpaceEngineers/Storage\672654358.sbm_NaniteConstructionSystem

The only difference is that the logs were not in the folder '672654358.sbm_NaniteConstructionSystem' as you mentioned above. I have them in '655922051.sbm_NaniteConstructionSystem'.

Seems to be an 8K block limit on projections before the projector will tag weld a block before building it further. Ive had to but my capitol ship in chunk projections in order to build it on our server :s
That block limit probably also explains why other players were not able to see massive ships on my server. If smaller projections are placed in to the projector, everyone can see them just fine. When it's a large one, the server won't remember it when relogging, and no-one can see the projection either.
