I´d suggest to remove such stat potions to avoid unintended (or intended) cheating. If any1 really wants to use them, they can be found and installed on by their own mod. I´d just recommend remove it from base "TL2-E" mod as they somehwo lead to break the game - so let any1 who wants them install them from elsewhere.
I found this:
http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=841702558&searchtext=respec
Seems to work only with vanilla classes and idk how it may work with reworked skills or totally new classes. Maybe could be fixed.
Anyway, if not possible, i would suggest to remove any restat / respec wich may lead to "cheat" from the base TL2-E to avoid "mistakes" and let players to choose if they want to isntall those kind of buggy potions by their own.
-Maybe u would liek to make that "Bug report post" a sticky so its always on top.
@ Corley (author): Is it possible to mod a barrier so that stats cannot be placed into the negative thereby preventing cheated extra points?
Is it also possible to respec stats from the UI menu itself?
"Press a button, move stats, can't get extra points."
If this is not ideal then I don't mind removing stat respec.
To ease Xercules' concerns I find that "Boris the Stat Enchanter" more than makes up for the lack of restat potions.
And Skills have no issues with Respec here.
Even if removed from base TL2-E, it is possible to get those potions from a sepparate mod (there are tons of mods to respec)
Im just suggesting to remove it from base mod to make it "fair", bug free and not "allowing to break or cheat" by just using the TL2-E mod...
...But still any1 can use those potions or any kidn of respec by getting that concrete mod. As said, tons of respec / restat mods available.
I will fix it in the next update.
Need to look into the enemy stopping bug now.
@Xercules I did this by design to give melee characters a chance to nuke and get some serious DPS in :) if you feel the durations is to long I can reduce it.
good stuff, thanks for confirming
