Please upload surf-only gamemode!!
At the moment you can`t find any gmod surf addon, which you can install for singleplayer without setting ♥♥♥♥ up.

how do I add bots and how do i set up the gamemode?

Download the gamemode, select it in the game in the lower right corner of the screen, start new game, change a single player on 16 players. To add bots enter "bot" in the console. To open the editor write "!edit" in the chat

What setting do you need to put though? I know how to open editor and add bots, but it still doesn't work.

sv_airaccelerater 175
sv_sticktoground 0

type following in your console:
sv_sticktoground 0
sv_airaccelerate 175
That way you can play linear surf maps without a timer in sandbox.
