Known issues & Bug reports
Troubleshooting guide
  • The flamethrower does not fire properly. - This is likely caused by incompatibility with other mods. Disable other addons, especially conflicting ones.
  • The flamethrower does not spawn. - Make sure that the Custom Weapon Base is installed and enabled. Disable other addons featuring custom melee weapons.

Limitations
The method used to add the flamethrower is very limited, so there are features that can't be implemented optimally.

  • The flame goes through walls (partially fixed).
  • The viewmodel complains about bone access.
  • Does not work with custom campaigns unless the campaign is modified to include it.
  • Requres several networked entities to be added per flamethrower.
  • Incompatible with other addons that globally execute scripts.
  • The fuel gauge flickers.

Known issues
  • Safe room door does not always open when using it.
  • Refueling the flamethrower will progress Scavenge finales.
  • The flamethrower has compatibility issues with the custom campaigns Day Break and Warcelona.

Some world fire textures, (Like ones in the Hotel) are broken. They have that glitch where it shows the whole texture instead of animating it... If that makes any sense.

It might not actually be to do with this mod, but it only started after I installed this, so I just thought I'd post this just in case.

Yes, it should work when hosting locally. Other players need the mod too, or they won't be able to see it.

Umm, I can't fire the weapon :/ No flames come out nor do zombies get burnt by it :c

Do you have any other add-ons, in particlular any with scripts? If so try disabling them.

I think its something to do with the admin system add-on :/ I disabled that and now it works nicely. :) friendly fire's a pain though

...Rectus, I'm running into a problem. The flamethrower isn't spewing zombie-killing flames! Think two add-ons I've subscribed to are jamming the flamethrower?
