Do the ads show on the host's end cause I haven't gotten a single ad?

people say that the ads must be skipped manually for each client.. it's a shame :c
I always loved this addon but after youtube's new wave of greed it's literally unusable..

I have been getting adds SO ANNYOING

youtube update screwed it entirely, i have another issue where it continues playing even after being dissabled and deleted

you can go in context menu and click the skip ad
