Dear creator please take a look at this just letting you know. yesterday mediaplayer was working just fine having a good time, laughs and cool videos. Now today I get this message.

It will be much appreciated please fix this error. me and my friends and everybody enjoy this addon It’s pretty fun I like showing my friends funny videos, music, behind the scenes movies, and old gameplay or new gameplay to show them what I’m talking about And the memories back then to now😁.

@XAV1ER0N MediaPlayer and Cinema Addon, which were maintained by another developer, have been completely migrated to a new location where the website data is hosted. They are now hosted on Cloudflare CDN. You will need to update your add-ons and restart the game if necessary.

Furthermore, this original add-on has nothing to do with the updated edition, which you are asking to be fixed as quickly as possible.

@NULLRAD, First, put on your reading glasses. The media player is no longer being developed and has many bugs. The community has released a version that keeps the media player up to date.

Second, 3D audio does not work here with web media such as YouTube. However, there is a distance-based volume for all these services in the updated edition.

just gotta use the gmod codec fix thing, Anyways Yeah
its a ui, that can do nearly all a reg browser can and soon more

Since this add-on is no longer maintained, you can use the Updated Edition maintained by the community, where YouTube ads are blocked by default (even if it is very experimental).

yeah this classic old addon is dead now sadly youtube greedy ass somehow found out about it
so they decided to put 1 hour ads on it breaking the entire media player when you delete it

Plz help and fix this i was playing media player without the 86x-64 Chromium+ 64-bit binaries have a good time then i get this message.

[request error] failed to parse html page for metadata: lua/mediaplayer/services/youtube/init.lua:169: attempt to index a string value with bad key ('htmlentities_decode' is not part of the string library)

Then the LUA ERROR message. lua/mediaplayer/services/youtube/cl_init.lua:266: bad argument #1 to WriteUnit’ (number expected, got nil).

Im so mad i was playing music and funny Videos then this happened today plz fix this without the 86x-64 Chromium+ 64-bit binaries setting. thank you! And have a good day!

For the fixed version of the addon please head over to this link.

You will need to unsub from the old version (what you are on right now), and sub to the new one listed bellow.
(having both subbed will run into compatibility issues and will not work)
