Questions (or suggestions)
If you have any questions, feel free to post them here (or on the comments I don't mind although here makes it neater) and I will answer (or one of the co-founders) as soon as I can.

If you have any suggestions for either this mod or for a new mod, I will try my best to make your wish come true. Note that I have limited scripting knowledge but I can very well create overhauls mods.

If you wish to see more included in this mod let me know on this thread.

@Cyberlowe That will go off topic of my mod which focuses on emergency responses. But you can propose that to trixi's staff menu mod.

@Solfosc I will consider this and eventually update it whenever I can. I curently cannot make any upgrade since my game crashes on launch... and you update from within the game. But making it 0$ would make it to OP don't you think?

@Cyberlowe yeah, I did thought about making a research needed for the dispatch (radio research or dispatch center etc.) and make it cost quite a lot. But in the end I did not do it. I could easily though if majority of people want.

Look the mod is your I can respect your opinion but when I sub to mods I look at how it balences the game and the mod. Having the ability to send a docter almost right away to a scene is good but is it balenced? does it add depth to the game without making it lazy? does it add a new level without destroying others, they are all things to consider so the choice is yours. (By the way, that part about researching, that is bloody amazing you should really try adding that)


You're right. And I will update my mod, but for the moment I cannot do anything due to some problems with my PA. I will add the research and maybe create more things later on when I can.

i dont think it should cost money either, you already pay to hire and pay upkeep on the gaurds, its their job to respond to catastrophic situations

Great mod, was wondering if you'd be able to code an object to make guards/doctors dispatch if they're needed around the object. Basically somekind of sensor that automatically dispatches.
I think it'd be pretty good to dot them around your prison exits for Escape Mode

Not sur if it could be possible, but maybe. However, I cannot promise I manage to make it work as I am not the best at scripting.

Being able to pause the game also makes the game itself very OP: I could just pause the game, drag a square and move all the guards to a desired location. If I am being forced to spend 100 $ to do the same why shouldn't I just keep pausing and dragging and moving the guards by myself?

@Solfosc You'll get annoyed of it. And also, finding doctors you cannot just select a square as you say and get doctors, same goes if you want only armed guards to go somewhere since there's a mad psycho killing everyone and your guards are too weak... you'll have to select them one by one and send them one by one. But i'll tell you what, add me as friend on steam, when I can I'll make a free version of the mod for you if you really want it.

Dispatch Doctor has stopped working. You pay 15 but no doctor arrives (and you don't get the green path marker of how the doctor would walk). The rest still works though.

I have tried save en reloading, and deactivating-activating the mod. Mods I have active:
- Dispatch Mod
- CCTV Camera Arrows
- Clearer Needs Icons
- New Windows Slope 2

I am not sure if it's only me or if others have problems with this. Just thought I should tell you. I am still using it, cause it's still handy. And I don't mind the pay everytime I dispatch someone.

I do have some ideas if you're interested (next post).

IDEAS

1. Sector based group call
I usually build large prisons. If I dispatch Armed Guards, they will all come. In my mind, I have allocated enough (Armed) Guards at a certain wing. The rest should not come. In programming terms, I would like to see that when I call for a group, only the ones in that particular security area (Med Sec for example) that have been connected to eachother. If there is another Med Sec area but it's not connected because Min Sec or other security area sits in between, security from the other area should not come.

2. Dispatch Console
How cool can this be? You could expand this mod. You put a Dispatch Console in a Security Room. This activates your ability to dispatch your staff.

Simple, but if there is a CCTV Monitor active and there is trouble the Dispatcher could send any free guard in that area (again "Sector based group call" but that only the free guards).

- If you implement this, dispatching should be "free". You are paying the guard that is on the dispatch console and 1000 for the console (like any other Security Room console);
- Every Security Room should have one Dispatch console because the Dispatcher can only send units to places with a camera connected to that Security Room, which makes sense, no?

- Alternatively if you don't make the Dispatcher send guards on it's own (because: reasons), you could still implement the console to activate the Dispatch ability. Effectively should this replace the cost, but only one is needed to the entire prison.

I think this could be very cool! ^_^

+1 Absolutely right. In fact all dispatch options should be free since we're already paying them.
