Stats
Instead of replacing the knife (like mentioning in the weapon description), how about it replace the Sapper?

The Unwitting Collaborator

After being placed: will detonate in 8 seconds causing 300 explosive damage to yourself and to enemies

Can only place one at a time
Sapped buildings won't be disabled
No sapper damage

It should also damage sentries, but after more time.

How about this?

The Unwitting Collaborator
Level 20 Time Bomb

Explodes 8 seconds after being placed on a building.
The explosion can damage nearby enemy players and buildings.
Takes only 20% damage from W
Has a 3% chance of exploding immediately on the first hit by a Wrench.

Buildings will not be disabled or damaged when sapped.
Cooldown of 3 seconds before another can be placed.
The explosion will also damage you.
