Reason why Valhalla can't be Offical is because its bigger then 2GBs. STOL said "@roger we've already cut our map from near 4gb to just over 3gb, we'd have to carve portions out of the map to get it below 2gb. Even if they were to overlook the file size or had some way to compress it further, none of us are skilled enough to work for wildcard, and it's doubtful they would want it without someone who created it helping to continue the development. Who knows though, that's just my 2 cents :)"

Please tell me ya'll plan on continuing this map, I just left the Center to try this and dragged my friends along for the ride, but it would be crushing if the map was dead. I also think it would greatly detract from the map if ya'll made it official anywho

Nobody ever talked about shuting the project down...

I wasn't infering a shutdown, but rather intentions to continue support and updates. By the looks of things updates have slowed down and there are still quite a few things that need to be addressed, so I want to make sure the map is thriving before I get overly invested is all.

I think if the map went Offical it would be better for it condsidering that I had herd of The Center played it once of twice and then when went Offical Everyone was playing it.

Sadly this map will never be an official map. They are making a new map called Ragnarok. Valhalla was there first try at a map and they simply made it larger than the current game can handle. So Ragnarok will be smaller.

the game handles Valhalla just fine, but I wouldn't be opposed to optimizations even if it meant slight cuts to the current map size.
