The first ever ark series i watched on YouTube was on this map. I was so hyped to play it when i finally got a pc that could handle ark only to discover that the author had all b it abandoned it. An ASA version with all they learned from the original would be absolutely my dream map.

Just wanted to say that I played the heck out of this map back in 2016 and it is probably my most treasured nostalgia of playing Ark back in Early Access days.

I put it on my dedicated enterprise server at home i can run over 300 game machines so i wanted to run ark with the Jurassic gates and the best mods its not easy server with over half million Dinos to choose from. with abilities JurassicArk

From what I recall, this map was dropped due to issues with it being too large. The devs had some great ideas and plans for this map but the technology just didnt allow it. I truly loved this map and it is by far my favorite. It has such great potential. Now with Ark moving to Unreal Engine 5, which from my understanding will allow for a considerably more size, please consider finishing this map or releasing the source so others may adapt it to UE5 after the new release.

There is no version but this one. He would have to revert from the workshop, but never count on that happening. Unless you have an Ark computer that hasn't connected to the internet since 2017, this is it

Yes, there is 2 obelisks on this map. It's a tiny green obelisk, you can spot easily at night because it glows green around it but if you play on low graphics definitely you won't be able to spot it easily. It's located in the Dino Arena where you can summon the broodmother. Coords: 53 / 24 and the other one is just a bit south west from the swamp. Coords: 55.8 / 60.7

For those that want something different or lets say different creatures, i advise you to install (MARNII MODS) into this map and it'll be amazing.

@mechelle the new stuff is mostly crap anyways. Valhalla is more like what Ark 2 will be. PVE focused, primitive focused.

As of Aug 2021 this map is big, but its just like this Island Map, just really large biomes. To bad it didn't advance with the new stuff Ark added in with the other DLC's, I would kinda consider this a dead map, unless you want to play Ark and experience it the way is was years ago when it first got started. Happy Gaming All
