Supply Drop Beacons
Hi All,

Have been running Valhalla on my server for about 6 weeks now and no matter what I try I cannot get the supply drop beacons to work, no beacons.

Have tried the full re-install, world wipes, with mobs, without mods, various server settings and everything works except we don't get any supply beacons (I can manually spawn them with the admin commands)

And before you ask, I have searched the map fully for days with very quick birds and there are no supply beacons at all.


Is there a setting command I'm missing, do any specific setting stop the beacons working, do I need to insert any additional comment in the game.ini or the GameUserSettings.ini for the beacons to work?

Any help appreciated.

I'm running a Valhalla server too and I can at least confirm I didn't have to mess with anything to get beacons to show up, they are much rarer though for sure or maybe just the scale of this map makes it appear so. One possibility is we are running with the Beacon Enhancer mod but I doubt that influences the frequency of their appearance, only their content. Good hunting!

Sorted it at last, and am I embarrassed.

Have recently changed my GTXGaming server over to their new G2 setup and the setting are a little different

There's a setting line in the game.ini (bDisableLootCrates=true) now changed to false and beacons working :)
