Cant get Valhalla map to load??
Hey guys, i subscribed to this map. Everytime i try and join my server it shows the normal loading in screen but says "PrimalGameData_BP_Primitive Plus" then a loading bar that loads a little then goes back to what would be 0, and loads some more and keeps repeating. i left it on this screen for 20 mins and still cannot get in. On the main screen when you first log in it says at the bottom right "Installing Valhalla" but there is no % and its been like that for almost a whole day.. Idk what else to do. And i converted to primal at the main screen as well.. Any tips??


TLDR;

-Valhalla map wont load, all other maps will.
-Converted to Primal on main screen
-When i join server it is a loading screen that never allows me in game
-...smh.

Try unsubscribing from the mod. Delete the "Mods" folder from your game or
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods
then try to subscribe again to the Valhalla on steam and let it download. Also when you join in the game and when it starts on the bottom right corner "Installing Valhalla" let it install don't just jump straight into the server because sometimes that might corrupt the installation of Valhalla.

okay will due. Ive done the above now re download valhalla. Its almost finished. ill also have to redownload the primitive mod as well i believe?

Yep, when you delete the "Mod" folder you need to re-download everything.

okay well i deleted everything, redownloaded new map and all.. still wont work when i load in.. i really dont know what else to do.

What kind of an error is it showing? Or it's still the same?

Its not an error.. it just wont finish loading the map when i select the server. The ark symbol is in the bottom right corner rotating.. and the "PrimalGameData_BP_Primitive Plus" is in the bottom left corner acting like its loading.. but it loads about 2 inches then goes back to the left screen.. loads like an inch... then goes back to 0 and does it for 20 mins+ and never stops the cycle...


Still isnt working.

Hmmm that's a bit unforunate. Have you tried to let the loading to go on? I mean by ON, just leave it like 1 or 2 hours for that time watch some TV then come back and see what happened? :)
