I am a dunce when it comes to history, however the funny thing about this game is that the artist and great generals have cars and jeeps before combustion is invented. I am sure this game is pretty dubious at best in that department when they made it and its a good idea to rework all all aspects of these flaws.

Did you know you can invent the internet without researching computers?
Did you know I seen modern jeeps during the 1600s when people were fighting with powder and pistol?
Remember when gandhi became a nuke happy bastard who always spawned with salt for whatever reason? I sure don't know except that was a joke.
Why the heck isn't Genghis Kahns racial ability able to negate the effects of city defenses including the great wall?
Why is salt in the game more valueble than gold and silver? (highest yields I have ever seen in a luxury.)
Tanks were made before combustion according to the tech tree.

Please, the entire tech tree needs to be redone by an expert of history.

There is modder who does large mods one of his is a Mega Units mod. This inculdes all modern and past Real-Time units ranging back from the Classcial Era till the future era. All civilaztions have there own specail units deapedning on what coutry of origin was. e.g U.S.A has the F-18 while the Russians have the MiG-29 and there are lots of units. So I think it would be great if you could collaberate with him to get some very deataled units and a wide range of techs as well.

i would like to help with the eras from 1560 to 1864 there is a lot of units that i think miss out, such as line infantry, grenadiers, mortars, basic rocket units blackpowder howitzers, and ships of the line for (evry sea nation) (-:

I actually know quite a little bit in history overall, especially for the suggested prehistoric era I have some ideas.
Also, I'm German so I could translate the descriptions and Civliopedia entries into German, if required.

Unfortunately, I'm at a complete loss if it's about modding, so I'm afraid, that beside advice and translation, I'm pretty useless -.-
