Can't download the mod
I can't download the mod. I tried literally everything I can think off. Unsuscribing and suscribing back again, rebooting the game, steam and the computer and nothing. I can't download it!

There's any other option to download the game or something?

This did the trick (found on civfanatics):
Try this first...
1. Turn off the game.
2. Delete the "Civ5ModsDatabase.db" from "Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache."
3. Launch the game and go to the mod section again.

Civ 5 can be a bit finicky with mods. I am glad you found a solution. I will keep this thread open so that others can try the fix if they have the same problem.

Hi man. I've tried the trick you described in the link up, but I'm still unable to download your mod. Please, if possible, do you have another way to help me? It was a lot of time I was not playing CivV, and I really believe I will enjoy your mod, if I will be able to download it, hehe. I've also unsubscribed all the other mods installed, and verified the game's files integrity too, but still nothing.

Wait, maybe I've found the trouble. I have the DLC Gods&Kings, but I don't have Brave of New World; is it required to download your mod?
