Just some thoughts.
So yeah this looks like a pretty awesome mod, hats off to you Silentine, I only have a couple of opinions I'd like to share.

1) Mushbrella: not bad idea, but the mushroom cost is kinda staggering, perhaps lower it to 3 shroom caps total, + some sticks & grass. Or make it last much longer if not indefinetly, Perhaps it can also provide a super small light, smaller than a torch but enough to keep charlie off your back, with a glow the colour of whatever shrooms it needs.

2) Log Helmet: maybe make it as it's own seperate item, with the lifespan of the leather helmet but with less damage absorbtion, and make the leather helmet just last much longer.

3) Bee Bat: Why under the magic tab? And why the shadow fuel and sanity drain? I would give it some sort of magical effect to justify the slightly exotic nature or remove the "magic" theme from it altogether, perhaps if you keep it magical maybe make it summon shadow bee's to fight for you for a brief moment, similar to the Thulecite mace but much much much weaker, and somewhat more whimsical, while also providing a use for the bazillionz of useless stingers everyone can't get rid of quick enough, lol.

3) Hound items/fur: Varg is kind of a ♥♥♥♥♥ to fight, very impossible to fight head on and kiting through traps wasn't much more effective when I tried it, perhaps IF you beat a Varg he'll drop randomly 1-3 pelts rather than just one half of the time, seeing as each hound item requires 2 pelts having to fight maybe 4-6 Vargs for just one item seems a bit over diffuclt. Also maybe add it so hounds will much more rarely drop a pelt.

4) Hornicopia: Perhaps instead of just five uses to heal your stats it causes a short rain which random pieces of food, everything except crockpot foods, but like vegetables, meats, raw or cooked, randomness but handy, with a chance to also spawn the Guardian's horn in the rain, a low enough chance to possibly lose the Guardian horn you used to make it, but high enough that you might even get 2 back from the rain. Also make it so the horn is not given back when the item breaks.

5: Beefalo Coat: I would just add the beefalo hat effect to it so that you have the option to wear either the hat or the vest to avoid being repeatedly headbutted to death during Red Butt season.

And that's about it, looks like a pretty good mod.

Thanks for your input to this mod. However I will not be able to implement said changes right now as I am currently working on another mod for another game.

Don't Starve Together though is a different situation. Perhaps when it is released I will update this mod to be DST compatible and implement said changes to DS as well.

1) Mushbrella: I might make it longer and add a bit of light. I avoid making recipes require more than 3 items. Although it feels a bit OP if it had light. I will need to test this myself.

2) Log Helmet: I am afraid I will keep the Log Helmet as it is. The reason behind this is that if I made it a separate item the Football Helmet would become entirely useless as gathering Logs is far easier than collecting Pig Skin.

3) Bee Bat: I felt it would be out-of-place if I moved it into the combat tab because it uses mostly shadow themed items and the concept of putting bee stings on a bat feels rather dark/disgusting. I based the recipe on the Dark Sword. Removing the sanity drain and shadow fuel would make it ridiculously OP in my opinion.

4) Hound items/fur: The Varg is one of the most useless boss-like mobs introduced in DS: Reign of Giants (aside from farming purposes). Someone suggested to me I should give it a purpose, and this is the result. Instead of the player being pissed by finding a Varg instead of a Koalefant, they have a chance to obtain something decent instead. Giving the Wolves the possibility of dropping Fur would make the Varg useless again.

5) Hornicopia: I believe your idea comes from the fact the player blows the horn instead of eating it; which was never my intention. It was meant to be an edible, none spoiling item like all food items but had multiple uses and it would be refilled by a new item called "Stuffing" made through the Crock Pot. It was never even meant to drop the Guardian horn but due to limitations I had to stick with this idea. I would follow through with your idea had this items true purpose be implemented properly in the first place.

6) Beefalo Coat: It lacks the Beefalo Horn in its recipe. If I made it have the same effect as the Beefalo Hat it would have to require the Beefalo Horn, but at the same time it would defeat the purpose of the Beefalo Coat as an alternate means of winter clothing.

Hmm, fair enough, would you be upset if I shared an edited version that included my changes? It's not likely to happen soon as I super suck at modding, but I'll certainly try to make the changes for my own game.
