Charms Race
My thoughts on this concept
Well, I just wanted to mention some opinions I have in regards to the project and how it could be implemented in-game. I don't hate the idea of charms, and I think they look cute. I don't necessarily use them in Overwatch 2, where there are also Weapon Charms, but here, it's almost as "what if weapons also had hats?".

There are a couple things that I feel like it could be changed, not from the concept itself, but how it would be implemented in-game.

1) Considering there's a case specific to Charms, I believe there should be some sort of rarer variant, otherwise people may not even unbox Charm cases as they can simply come from bonuses on regular cases. My first thought was Unusual Charms, while it can work, they can't be too distracting on first-person view, neither for those looking at the player wielding the weapon.

a) "Reactivity" charms, where it changes design (texture-wise or model-wise), depending on your killstreak (regardless if the player has a killstreak weapon), could be an idea for a rarer variant. I just don't see people unboxing Charm crates if they are also (intended) to come from bonuses as well.

2) Would Charms be a tool to apply to a specific weapon? What if charms were universal where you could pick for any weapon? Perhaps a sub-slot on the Loadout screen where you can equip the charm. If we were to include Unusual Charms, that could increase interest a bit, because it wouldn't be locked to just one weapon (as it's the case to Unusual Weapons).

a) Universal charms could be cool, perhaps unlike Tournament Medals that are almost never utilized due to a limit of cosmetic slots, tournament players can use a charm that specifies their tournament position, how cool would that be?

b) Universal charms also mean that any charm creator could utilize at any weapon they wish for, not requiring to utilize the tool on a specific weapon (which is the case with Self-Made War Paints). There could even be Community Sparkles on the charm itself;

c) What if Wiki Cap owners could finally break free from using the Wiki Cap as their only hat and have a little Wiki Cap charm attached to their weapons, that also sparkles? And leaving a space to our cosmetic slot for something else (or continue using the Wiki Cap). I know us are like 0.1% of the playerbase, I just want to dream;

3) I believe that more weapons should be compatible, and not just ones with War Paint / Festivize capabilities. Using the "Cow Tool" charm on the Cow Mangler would be chef's kiss.

I understand that the concept of charms on a specific case is a suggestion, and doesn't necessarily mean it would be added in the game, if charms were to be added in the first place. I just wanted to mention that there are potential on this concept, although some changes might be required.

do you have anything to contribute to the discussion or are you just being negative to feel smart? because it being in counter strike isnt an argument to not do it
