Bug Reports
Figured i'd make a "Bug Reports" section for this mod, as I have a bug to report.

For some strange reason, one can't swap out for a covie carbine when they're set in a covie storage rack, as demonstrated in this small vid here: https://files.catbox.moe/gplds5.mp4

No idea why this happens, and before you say it, no, I am not making this up whatsoever, I seriously have no idea why one can't grab a covie carbine from a covie storage rack. :UnhappyLilith:

You can still grab carbine ammo from them, but not the weapon itself strangely when you lack it, as shown in the above vid. Hopefully this issue can be fixed soon.

EDIT: In the Crow's Nest chapter, when the Spirit dropship arrives, it doesn't seem to drop off any covie infantry, nor open up its passenger doors either, thus soft-locking this mission since nothing else happens after the previous phantom-dropped covies are dealt with. I’ll fix it as soon as I can, this mod is still heavily a work in progress, I’m not even done restoring the cut content on any of the levels so far.

Yeah, I’m basically doing what I did with Halo 2, putting out piece by piece and updating it overtime until I can get it where I want, I just made it public for everyone to play, that way I can find out what’s working and what’s not incase I miss something. After I get the cut content dug out and the other mission finished I’m going scrub this clean of as many bugs as I can find that way it feels as polished as “Halo 2: What If?”

For some bugs I've found: Wraiths don't shoot their main cannons at all, they just shoot the turrets. Enemy Wraiths also still aim like they're aiming the main cannon and just shoot into the air.

The Spirit in the holdout section on Tsavo Highway doesn't drop off any troops, have to move further and fight the Wraith in order for the second drop ship that's a Phantom to spawn.

Arbiter for some reason on Sierra 117 can hang up and can get caught in just constantly moving forward and falling into the water, can fix by killing him.

Dual Wielding Elites don't properly take weapons from trading that aren't Dual Wiedlable and just become non functional.

Needlers don't super combine.

Banshees shoot their guns extremely fast, not sure if bug but, they melt you almost instantly.

These are definitely bugs for sure, the wraiths I’m currently trying to fix but I’m not sure the issue so it’s taking some time, I’m also working the spirit as well. I’ll look into the arbiter and dual wielding as well as the Banshee guns, those I was unaware of until now, and roll out a patch as soon as I fix them.

I think I have an idea on what's going on with the Wraiths. Right now their plasma canons are set as the primary weapon, with the mortar as the secondary (usable with B on controller, same as the Banshee Bomb) I think the A.I only know how to fire the primary weapon. So if you were to swap it around so that the plasma cannons were the secondary and the mortar was the primary, that might fix it!

As for the Carbines on the racks? From what I can see on the ammo counters, I think they just don't have ammo in them, which is why you can't pick them up.

The Town of Voi, the start instead of being driven out of the tunnel it just doesn't move and you can't get out. I know normally you're stuck in it til it drives out. Not sure if it's just a recent patch that's caused it and nobody else has ran in to it or if it's on my end? Not a big deal just curious.:steamhappy::warthog: And yes I've tried restarting and modifying the level and game.

I ran into an invisible wall near the beginning of the Voi level. Can't seem to move past the threshold of the third switch operated door (the one that leads into the hallway that a mass of Covenant march towards you in). The wall is right at the door as well as the alternative open access to the right, and it persists despite throwing all switches up until this point in order. The door opens, but I can't move through.

I went back in and found that I was able to move through suddenly. The one thing I know I changed was the customization options toggle, which I set to "off" this time.

I cant pick up any of the carbines in the weapon boxes on the first level but can pickup dropped carbines. I can get ammo from the weapon boxes though if i already have a carbine.

To be honest, I've been working on it most of the day and I can't figure out what is causing it, I've been experimenting trying to get it fixed, but as soon as I do it will be updated
