The 2025 Update
Hey everyone, I'm excited to announce that the long-awaited 2025 update is in active development! There's a lot to do, and I want to make this one as slick and shiny as I can for you all. No promises on an exact release date so far, but I'd say at the current rate of progress it shouldn't be more than two months. Stay tuned!

Hey guys, here's a quick update on the new release. For the past two months, I've given this project basically everything I've got, and we're finally approaching the point we've all been waiting for. In all honesty, I could continue to work on it for another three months, but considering the state the current version is in, I'd like to get this update out to you guys ASAP.

There's a huge amount of additions and fixes which are a night-and-day difference from the current version, including (but not limited to):
3951 new cosmetic items,
34 new weapons,
AI improvements,
New game mechanics,
Performance optimization,
a UI revamp,
and way, way more that is just too much to mention here.

I've got big plans for what to add next, like support for custom weapons and cosmetics, a complete AI overhaul, a fully functional TF2 Weapon pack for player use, KOTH and Payload gamemodes, and maybe even a dedicated TF2 for Garry's Mod Gamemode. Cramming all of that into one update could take over a year, and I'd like to pace that out a bit and get you guys something you can play with now.

Here's the plan: Over the next week or so, I'll be polishing things up and getting ready for release in early October. At that point, I'll also be opening up donations to help keep the project alive. I've been working on this pretty much full-time lately. I love Garry's Mod, and I love building addons, and believe me when I say that being able to actually do this full time would be an absolute dream come true. Right now, I'm in a bit of a tight spot IRL. In a perfect world I'd just keep coding forever, but as things stand I do need some financial support to make ends meet and keep the updates flowing. Your donations will directly fuel faster patches, new features, and even things we haven't even imagined yet.

I'm beyond grateful for all the support you guys have shown me for the past two months, and I can't wait to show you the new update! You won't be disappointed - stay tuned for the release date!

what about make the MVM robots deploy a bomb?

Well, yeah, I could make a bomb entity that bots will try to pick up and use it to kill the teams. That could work.

However, what would the tank even do if it didn't have a bomb? It'd just sit there and soak up bullets. The bomb is it's only attack, so getting rid of it would make it useless.

Also folks, optimization is a big goal right now. If anybody has any tips on how to make the code run faster, that would be immensely helpful. If you don't know anything about that, just tell me what causes the most lag and I'll do my best to address it.
Are you going to try targeting animations fixes? As well allowing engineer to actually go out and seek a place to put a nest down instead doing at spawn? :gorlak:

Those are some things I'd like to do - which animations in particular are the most choppy?

Also, determining where an engineer should put his base is a bit of a tricky problem to solve. With the Intelligence or capture points, it's easy, just build near the point. However, if it's just a team death match, how do you pragmatically determine where the base should go? I'm curious to hear your thoughts.
Will we be getting the gunslinger and mini sentries? i'd really like to see them tbh. (also rescue ranger being able to be used by engineers to repair buildings would be really cool as well)

And also the wrangler would be cool to see as well (idk if it could be done but it would be really cool)
@MrNiceGuy, I actually have some codes that you can implement that people already want.
