Drones have full item slots, which among other things lets them carry a melee weapon they can't use.

The item slots are actually intentional because I wanted them to not be useless at leading small patrols but I'll have to give them a melee attack so they can use weapons next time I update

for some reason I cannot summon Matriarch in the hive. I have a spire and nevertheless the Matriarch option is greyed out
