You're not wrong, it's not undealable-with. With Franz you can spend prestige to boost recruitment(conscription/troop levvy(forget what it was called, +1 recruitment and minus cost for 3 turns)) to mitigate this. But it just makes the early-mid game feel more frustrating than anything else until I can finally get my ♥♥♥♥ together and start pushing the many many fronts.
I play my 3rd campaign or so now with the mod and I gotta say it is SAD that the mains allure of the army and backbone infantry "Deithguards" are locked behind a 2 turn radious while being statistically somewhat on par with Ironsides. I know they are modded and we want to keep a "balance" but then just put them at the tier 3 gunnery building and let them be 1 turn.
RN you HAVE to get TollGATES lvl 4 settlement to get the recruitment down by 1 in 1 province.
Please @Doktober 1 turn Deithland standard units. PLeeeeease
