pop cap differences of same unit types
Maybe it's on purpose, but one example of this are the anti-tank hunter partisans with chrecks. In partisan building they cost 14pop-cap, compared to partisan commander call-ins there they cost 8 instead. It's fine by me anyway consider the p.-commander is a partisan specialist. But there are two more things that should be restored to the mod, 'n' that is Soviet isu's 152-assault gun tanks frontal long-vision ability. I know the unit side bar slots are full with abilities & have no place for it. My thoughts about this is to replace the ability to see enemy infantry in fog of war with long-vis. sight instead and I don't see it as overpowered compared to ostheer/wehrmachts scope upgrade U can buy to most of their tanks. Long vis.- sight has also pros. and cons. so it's not op. Ohh, one more thing is that the 17-pounder cannot be garrisoned anymore with troops from the British like infantry section 'n' so on,. --compared to "Wehr's" pak-43 implacements who still can uses it wich I see as unbalanced, thou it's nice too see that germans has more defensive abilities to play with!^_^' It would been great if garrison 17-pounder's could work again;) I guess it has to do with this december update and some things weren't intended work as before... Anyway great work by the way!!^^

The partisan popcap isn't intended and will be fixed. The December patch did indeed change the 17 pounder, but I will change it back. I hope the 'Focus Sight' ability is still accessible in the tools, but I will search for it :)

I forgot to mention that kv-2 heavy assault tank has two different pop cap too. Those created in base building cost 19 & commissar's call-ins 'R' 24. It has been in this way through many previous updates, but it hasn't bothered me at all so i've never really cared to write about it because of instant access to a kv-2 through commissar as a see as a benefit!

Maybe I should make a new topic about this, but i type it in here anyway. An idea when it comes to anti-tank gun pits upgraded with Zis-3 is the ability to add some sort of light artillery barrage function like those ordinary Zis-3s to be more effective against infantry who still can manage to avoid it if they are aware of it with "easyness" through mobility, without munition cost & faster recharge as pros. Cons will be obvious, --they are stationed. What do you think of it, and if it possible with today's mod tool 'n' with smooth animation effect + functionality?
Now I'll go back to the mod tool and check some things. This will be the end of all the writings for this time... -- Have a nice 24H>>

Thanks for you additional posts. I'll edit the KV-2 from the commissar too. The barrage ability for the ZIS emplacement will be difficult to make with all correct animations. I will add it to the list and to try it sometime :)

One issue with the Zis-emplacement though, the barrage ability has collision with the roof which spawn at vet 1. I actually prefer that roof over the ability (it protects against artillery fire and looks cool).

....An idea I think of,. is to make a choice between the two of them as an upgradable munition cost. There if you choose roof you can't upgrade to the other (light artillery barrage). But that means some tweaks in the mod tool because of upgrade button changes for this emplacement.

A small task I want to add is 'prioritize vehicle' button is gone for 17-pounder now, thou I know it prioritize vehicles as a standard and there is no option to attack infantries anymore. Even if it has a little value on attacking infantry with an anti-tank gun unit it still can "pop" some infantries now & then so it would been nice if it was restored. Pak-43 emplacements still got this ability. It's just a tiny thing of course. =)

An issue with the Focus Sight ability for the ISU is that the ui has no more room for another ability sadly.

Sadly it's true about the ISU, thou I recommended in prevous post to take away the infantry awareness in favor for 'Fokus Sight' instead. It's nice in a visual way when two soldiers are "mounted" on top of the turret cockpit at same time, one with the DShK 12.7 gun & second soldier scout for enemy tanks ahead as this is the main purpose of this unit + a lot of other units has already 'infantry awareness' as a choice.^.^' --It's your call of what you prefer and fits best?! =)

Hehe, a secret ehh?^^ Guess it'll come out as a munition cost upgrade of something?!?!. We'll see as it can be a suprise =)
