Can't upgrade units to mounted units?
I have a few units that are able to upgrade to mounted and I could upgrade them for a while but now I can't upgrade them anymore because I am missing "mounts" but I got a ton of mounts in my party inventory of all forms both normal mounts and war mounts but still won´t let me do it.

Anyone else encountered this after the patch?

you need a warhorse for each upgrade.

Oh damn yeah did not notice that at all before. Just had so many horses looted from enemy armies I never really ran into it before now. Thanks!

I have the required mount. The name is the same and it's also a warhorse but can't upgrade it. Do you know why?

Upgrades for mounted units can be either a "Mount" or a "War Horse". High tier mounts may require "Noble Mount". In the purchase screen it tells you which type they are. On your party screen, under each unit capable of upgrade, it tells you which type mount you need. So you need to carry around a mix of all types so you can upgrade when needed. Each mount type has it's pros & cons such as speed and hit points.

Some units require XP level as well so it might not just be the mount.

thank you so much. i just found out that I just need a mount not a war horse.
