I have no idea how to fix it, is it possible in this scenario to restore the character or fix this situation?
Oh, remember to always, always make a copy of your storage folder before do anything into the files!
Yeah! Inside your "storage" folder you can access the "player" folder, and in there you will have a shipworld.bak file, you probably have at least 3 in there, I guess, so you can just delete your shipworld file and change the extension from bak1 (for example) to just .shipworld.
You can also put the log at the pastebin for me to take a look on what's happening! (it's the starbound.log, inside the storage folder)
after I wake up, I can try to repeat the situation to make logs.
In general, I quickly recreated the bug situation, and the problem remained, I uploaded the logs to Google Drive.

I'm trying to narrow down which part could be related to Alpha Ship, but all it seems is that there's some mod that's causing problems with smallboosterflamehuman2.object, and there's a chance it could be that, since the default Alpha Ship uses smallboosterflame.object (even though it's not the same one, it might also have problems with that one).
There seems to be some conflict with the rus_arcana_continued mod, and also with avali_triage_race_mod_rus, or something like that. I've looked through all the Alpha Ship files to see if I've made a mistake and added smallboosterflame2 somewhere, but none of the 149 files use that object. Unfortunately, it seems like this error is beyond my capabilities, and I'm really heartbroken to have to say that I don't know how to help with this =/
i wanted to report 2 things that seem rather important for mod compat.
1. Sail disappears after booting the ship. Better Ships mod mentioned previously changes the interactability of ship props, allowing the player to "break and place" most of which. This is what i think *could* cause any bugs.
2. Removing the ship locker also unintentionally removes all items that any other mod would place in the locker for starter gear.
I really think the mod is great and hope you can fix these things to make it perfect for my modpack :)
I'll really think about that, and after finish a huge amount of work (the regular pay the bills work LOL) I'll download Better Ships and see what's happening with the SAIL =)
I think having these items only appear in the BYOS ship crate is at most mildly impractical IF said character will be using the BYOS module, otherwise they are just gone. I could see certain circumstances in which the player may not take the byos module for specific characters.
Obviously, any unsupported races dont encounter these bugs.
Better ships mod places an extra "Ship part builder" next to the SAIL console that also doesnt appear when launched with your mod.
