For WX78:
-Heater scheme will become anti-fever one. Question is, should it still be locked behind a boss? Probably not, but what can be scanned instead is unclear.
-A scheme that returns "system overload" effect, probably as replacement for freezer scheme. It is not obvious, whether it should be 2 or 3 slot one.
-Anti-fog scheme can be made, but is it okay that wx can just ignore all weather conditions now?(except rain).
For Warly:
-Probably some dish based on fried chestnuts as an anti-allergy dish.
-Probably a filling dish from tubers that would be like bone bouilion?
Salt is much more confusing. If salt is sold at groceries, then salt box comes before refrigerators, and that is quite stupid. If we don't allow building salt box, then we just have unusable wares for most characters.
Another option would be having salt racks like the Gorge, but there are no clear candidates for replacement of salt lakes.
Also, would you consider adding a way to optain honey other that the nectar and honey chest way?
Maybe adding it to the Swinesbury Fine Grocer's list of ingridients sold? (maybe 5 oincs each, since you can buy 1 large meat for 5 oincs and 2 small meats for 4, so a total of 14 oincs for the ingridients of a honeyham compared to a ready one for 20 at the The Sterling Trough Deli)
Or maybe even adding the bee mine to The Boar's Tusk Weapon Shop list of wapons sold, for like 50 oincs, you detinate the mine, catch the bees and use a honeycomb from an Antcomb Home to craft a bee box
Maybe make it so that they are being scanned only while activated (like with moles that can't be scanned while underground but do not reset the scanning process), or (if you feel it's still too easy) if it can be implemented make it somehow necessary to scan all 4 components for it to give you the recipe (scan leg, keeps in memory, scan arm, keeps in memory, scan ribs, keeps in memory and lastly scan head and get recipe)
On salt: you almost always already have one, as you need red gems for many characters, so it is pretty much the same time, and it is much better(maybe not for your playstyle, idk).
You are spot on for heater scheme.
On honey: I don't plan to add more ways to get honey atm, partially due to existence of gummy cake.
Probably shouldn't add both at the same time though cause apparently new Warly spices are extremely taxing to the hardware... somehow.
For WX-78, maybe a circuit to replace the freezer one you get from pugalist due to summer not existing in hamlet, or just add the ability for freezer to freeze attackers the same way shock does.
By arguably better i meant the saltbox is better than the icebox, but yeah, by my playstyle i usually make icebox because i have a habit of cooking foods and making crockpot dishes (non storable in icebox), and i don't like much going searching for the salt.
I would still go with salt being available at the sty oddities emporiun, maybe not for 2 oincs but 3 each crystal (30 total oincs for 10 necessary crystals versus the 20 oincs for 1 gear for icebox), and a low chance to drop from smashing pots.
Honestly, didn't even think of the dynamics with gummy cake :P
o7 RIP honey crystals: nobody aint ever gonna waste 450 potential hunger values for 8 total minutes of double labor
It depends on what you feel matches more the Hamlet aesthetic and the manthill locations.
Obviously something like a port of the white sea salt formations looks out of place in a mine (if you don't feel like it would be a massive waste of time, the texture of the salt crystals and seabox could be changed to a pinkish orange tint to look like the hymalyan salt you mentioned in the image).
I heard ants strongly dislike salt because of its taste and it dries them up: all the salt could be found in a couple rooms piled up (as if all the salt they found is tossed in those rooms to avoid having it around), and regenerate a single stage every time the passages rearrange (as if their mining caused a cave-in of sort and they found some more salt and is stored there).
Either way, hopefully it's not a limited resource and regenerates (even slowly) over time.
