Miniboss balance
There's a huge variety of potential minibosses (32 in total) and I didn't spend a ton of time testing all of them. My testing has mostly just been "yep. this works." and moving on to the next one. So there are some that might be a bit sketchily balanced. The ones I am particularly concerned about are:

  • Juggernaut
  • Mercurial
  • Penetrator
  • Traditor
  • Holistic

Let me know if you encounter any minibosses that you think are poorly balanced here! I'll make sure I keep an eye out for comments on this and adjust the bosses accordingly. Thanks!

No guarantees on Master of the Arena bosses. They're supposed to be exceedingly difficult!

idk if it can be done and i dont recall the boss name but it had a super charging laser and its way too hard to be in the Titanium region. can you lock certain bosses out based on core distance?

Hmmm. I'd rather try balancing the boss but I'll see what I can do, yeah. The laser guys have always been tricky to get the damage right on.

Actually, I think the issue is a bit more fundamental than that. I'll fix the laser sniper bosses.

for me atleast that super laser weapon is just no fun. i have never beaten the core boss version that uses it. the AI captains never stand a chance and my flagship is often too sluggish. in the case where it tpk'd my fleet i had been doing fine, hardly broken a sweat. wave 40 spawned the super laser boss and it was over immediately.

The Steadfast Hunter is probably a bit overtuned. I've been thinking about making some adjustments to it. I'll test out some changes over the next few weeks and tweak some values.

I have nerfed the laser enemies.

I've also nerfed the Nightingale enemies. Those things were shockingly effective.

Loving this Mod so far.
Currently trying to get the "Holistic Hardcore Prowler" Boss down (Wave 30 for me)
Heals himself and Minions faster than i can dmg them.

Might be a skill/gear issue and im eager to try again soon :)
