How do I get paramedics to go away?
After killing someone and moving the body, paramedics appear but just stand in the original area the NPC died shrugging repeatedly lol. I try telling them to go away with the chat function but they just stay there until I kill them and the cycle repeats

This drawback of the NPC AI is in fact great for farming. Kill someone in or near your base and just keep killing the paramedics that show up. Since it's on your base you won't get SWAT showing up. That's free money, some basic loot, free target practice, and endless free vans at 100% integrity and a good bit of fuel. Endless profit.

True. But they kept breaking all my windows to get in which just meant every time raiders tried to get in I didn't know until they were shooting at me

That's not only an issue with paramedics, that's Bandits NPC's jank, and the only real solution is to either accept that there are no post-apocalypse windows, or barricade them six ways from Sunday. I consider the latter option as a waste of time, considering that if we're discussing the pre-nuke phase, it's all going to burn down anyway.

it's easy to say it's jank, and imply that the author somehow delivers low quality, but let me tell you this: it is simply not possible to fix. The windows and doors are equally good openings for in-game pathing algorithms.

I didn't mean to imply poor coding on the Bandits NPC's part, but rather the base game itself not being built with NPCs that aren't zeds in mind.
