What's with the aggression? It's an idea. I have no coding experience. Half of this stuff is already in Week One. I'm not expecting it to be made or added in. Relax and just take it for what it is, an idea.
And the song which would play during the bombing would either be a fragment of "I don't want to set the world on fire" by Ink Spots or smth like "I don't want to see tomorrow" by Nat King Cole.
Definitely! I'm always for unique mods that make the game feel like a new experience.
I'm also a dummy and completely forgot to factor in EMP attacks. Most media depicting a nuclear war tend to have them trigger EMPs just before the main barrage of nuclear strikes begins. I don't know how easy it would be to code in, but I could easily see just before the bombs start falling the power suddenly going out, and everything electronic ceasing to work. Flashlights, cars, lamps, generators, all gone permanently unless you had them protected SOMEHOW.
Week One is just a really fun mod with a plethora of opportunities to branch from it. It's the one thing I've been wanting to see from a zombie game for almost 15 years. Whatever you've got planned next, I'm already looking forward to it. :)
This could be a simulation of some kind of a war, slowly escalating to a nuclear war (as an option, maybe).
US' and the enemy's troops could be fighting each other on the map as the colflict would get worse, would be interesting to see that.
You'll have to survive both civil unrest AND the enemy's attacks at thew same time, before the nuke would be dropped, and it'd prob look epic and cool, even though there won't be any zombies, it'd be an interesting war survival simulation
Where exactly have you spotted an agression, my friend? I was just suggesting.
Lua doesn't require any coding experience, just a functional brain and fingers, everything is clear on intuitive level. You can even use existing mods as a base for your code.
Did someone hurt you? Are you experiencing amnesia? Or perhaps having difficulty understanding the word 'aggression'?
You can always offer suggestions without being rude. Being unnecessarily obnoxious toward a polite, completely harmless discussion is just immature. Let alone your off-topic "suggestion" that doesn’t even benefit anyone.
Hope you’re feeling proud earning all those free Steam points, won’t spare you a clown award like the others. tsk
You should ask Slayer for permission to code these features on your own while using Week One as a base. I'm sure he'd have no problem with that.
