same issue here but my Zambies have shotguns

go into npc's and put them on default weapon

Go to NPC's options on the Spawn Menu (The same place where you can disable their AI and make them ignore you) and then Weapon Override, from there you click on Default Weapon, and they should go back to normal!

zombie wit a gun

Its 10 times scarier.

actually zombie with guns are like any other npc, but they aproach and shooting at same time, also if you put them a crowbar they will throw it to you and instakills you.
